Do every person see all colours same with his eyes like all persons

Generally, yellow color is associated with feelings like happiness and joy. But a recent study published in the Journal of Environmental Psychology suggests that not everyone associates yellow with a pleasurable feeling or cognition.

In fact, the researchers wanted to know what factors play a role in the association of emotions with colours. They tested a new hypothesis to find out whether the surrounding physical environment influences the emotions emanating from a particular color. For example, would a person living in a cold or rainy Finland have a different feeling of yellow color than a person living in the Sahara Desert?

Researchers looked at data from a survey conducted on about 6625 people from 55 countries. In this survey, people were asked to rate 12 different colors based on which color they associated with feelings like happiness, pride, fear and shame.

In the study, the researchers analyzed data related to the color yellow based on how different factors such as duration of sunlight, length of daylight and amount of precipitation were related to the feelings people reported for the colours. How people perceive the color yellow was most closely related to two things: the amount of annual rainfall where they live and the distance from the equator. The researchers found that the number of people who saw yellow as being associated with happiness was higher in areas with rain and less near the equator. Apart from this, people living away from the equator appreciated bright colors more. In Mirua (hot spot), only 5.7 people associated yellow with happiness, while 87.7 percent of people in snowy Finland associated yellow with happiness. moderate climate The association between yellow color and happiness was reported by 60-70 percent of the people.

The study also looked at changing interest in colors with climate change - do people in any region prefer yellow in winter rather than in summer? It was found that people's opinion about colors remains almost the same throughout the year. (source features)
